Explore our commitment to ESG: since 2019, we have been publishing the Sustainability Report, promoting stakeholder engagement activities and measuring ourselves on formalized Sustainability goals with a 2030 time horizon, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

WIIT supportsUN Global Compact

As a part of our commitment to being a responsible company, since 2022 WIIT supports the United Nations Global Compact: a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of UN goals and issues embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals.
Launched in 2000, it is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world.

The Premium Cloud2030 Goals

The commitment for the coming years will be to increase the number of women in top positions in WIIT. The goal is to achieve a 45% female quota within the Board of Directors and 30% of women in Senior Management.

In addition, at least one ESG sustainability target linked to the MBOs of its managers will be introduced by 2030.

WIIT 4 INNOVATION2030 Goals

As a sign of our commitment to sustainability and innovation, WIIT will field new lines of action on scientific research initiatives, co-innovation activities and process automation.

In addition, the ESG Plan aims to allocate 1% of annual turnover to digital services for non-profit organizations.

WIIT 4 CLIMATE2030 Goals

In order to reduce its impact and become carbon neutral or positive, each organization can procure from renewable sources, or purchase green certificates, economically supporting companies that produce “green” energy. Reducing emissions is a challenge that requires awareness both inside and outside the company.

WIIT’s commitment in the ESG Plan is to reduce by 50% the energy consumption for the storage of its data centers, to have a corporate fleet composed of 70% electric or hybrid cars and to purchase 100% of energy produced from “green” sources. An equally important aspect will be to guarantee a second life to at least 80% of the technological materials being replaced.

In complex times like the one we are experiencing, the wellbeing of the people who work in the company becomes an even greater challenge for the success of the business.

People in the company must feel that they are fundamental to the organization, and that their specific know-how, including operational know-how, contributes to creating value. For this to happen, it is necessary to invest in the quality of work and the training of people.
