Founder and majority shareholder of the WIIT Group.
At the end of the 1990s, he realised the idea of creating a high-level player in the outsourcing sector and founded WIIT S.p.A., which he still manages today.

He holds the position of CEO of the group and is its strategic head and an inexhaustible source of energy and inspiration.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER &
CHIEF SALES OFFICER

With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Christoph Herrnkind is now CEO of WIIT AG and is responsible for the strategic direction of the company. Together with his management team and in close communication with customers, he is constantly developing the company’s portfolio.

Early in his professional career, he co-founded myLoc managed IT AG, which was already providing high-quality colocation, cloud and managed hosting services.

In 2020, myLoc became a subsidiary of the Italian WIIT S.p.A. and appointed Christoph Herrnkind to the management position of the subsidiary, which was renamed WIIT AG in April 2024.

Over the next few years, other IT companies in Germany and Switzerland joined forces under his leadership to further advance the overarching goal of Cloud4Europe.

CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

Having joined the company in 2005, he has built up extensive expertise in the IT sector: After various roles in the field of software development, he became Head of Development at myLoc managed IT AG in 2014, which has been part of the WIIT Group since October 2020. In 2017, he was then appointed Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and took a seat on the Management Board. In this role, he was responsible for software development as well as the network division.

In his current position as Chief Information Officer (CIO) of WIIT AG, he is responsible for compliance, cybersecurity, the network and the further development of software solutions. With his many years of experience, his in-depth training from his computer science studies at RWTH Aachen University and his technical expertise, he ensures that the company’s IT infrastructure is continuously optimised and always meets the needs of its customers.

CHIEF INNOVATION, TECHNICAL INTEGRATION & DATACENTER OFFICER

He has been working in the areas of hosting, managed services and cloud computing for 15 years and has played a key role in the development of WIIT’s German data centres and cloud platforms for business-critical applications and infrastructures. He is currently responsible for these, the technical group integration and the operation of the business-critical systems.

He is also heavily involved in the further development of solutions and the introduction of new innovations to the service portfolio.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

He has more than 15 years of experience in the international M&A, finance and tech industries and is currently responsible for the financial management and further development of WIIT AG as its CFO. Previously, he advised multinational corporations and private equity investors on cross-border transactions at PwC and led due diligence projects with a focus on TMT and logistics. Other positions took him to the global M&A department of a leading company in the food delivery industry and to the FP&A department of a telecommunications company.

He is regarded as a strategic finance leader with expertise in building scalable finance organisations, modern control and reporting structures, and the integration of finance, operations and business development. His international experience in Europe and Asia combines a deep understanding of finance with a clear focus on growth and investors.

CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER

He worked early on in the international management of a Fortune 500 company. There he also took on several senior advisory roles, as well as managing international PMI processes. He then became managing director of an internal start-up, which he developed into a scale-up through expansion and alignment.

In over 13 years, he accompanied more than two dozen international M&As and PMIs and restructured several successful acquisitions. In addition, he chaired central committees in various companies and introduced KPIs as a core management tool in companies on several occasions.

In his current position at WIIT AG, he endeavours to ensure long-term corporate growth through professional M&A and PMI processes, as well as the further development and expansion of a transparent, resilient corporate strategy, vision and mission.

CHIEF CUSTOMER OFFICER

Andreas Schubert has been with the company since 2008 and, as Chief Customer Officer, has been responsible for the customer-oriented focus of WIIT AG since 2025.

Even before joining the company, he successfully completed his training as an IT specialist for application development – a solid foundation that underpins his in-depth technical understanding. In his career to date, he has successfully built up and managed customer and technology teams and played a key role in shaping the organizational structure, developing a forward-looking corporate culture, optimizing processes and implementing modern tools.

His consistent focus on maximum customer satisfaction, compliance with SLAs and efficient, transparent communication make him a key player in driving the sustainable success and innovative strength of WIIT AG.

DIRECTOR HR

After graduating in business law with a focus on labour and European law, he gained extensive experience in various companies and institutions during his more than 15-year career in human resources.

As a member of the German management team, he is Human Resources Director at WIIT AG, where he shapes the HR strategy that contributes to the achievement of the company’s goals. His focus is on creating a positive corporate and leadership culture, strengthening employee loyalty and promoting and identifying future talent.
